“RC Strasbourg will let Barco go”

Has there ever been a more pointless sentence?

No Tonali bid then?

They’re after around 3 midfielders. They’re going to spend an absolute fortune, probably similar to Liverpool last summer.

Casually buying 3 top midfielders after spinning a fortune last summer, and the summer before and the summer before and we are meant to believe these lot are as bad as Ashley.

 No we're not. Be surprised if we even spent half of what Liverpool spent.

What are your expectations? It sounds like a possible £200m on midfielders alone, if they are actually after 3.

From what the guys close to the club are suggesting, it's about £150m on three midfielders (80, 50, 20) but would be happy with two, and a backup at striker, full back, keeper and possibly centre back depending on how long De Ligt will be out for.

Rashford, Casemiro, Sancho, Hojlund, Ugarte, Bayindir, Malacia, Zirkzee and Onana all either gone or likely to leave. Maybe £100m or so in transfer fees there and an absolute fuck ton in saved wages.

The West Ham itk fella, who’s usually very good, reckons Man Utd have got Matheus Fernandes.

That transfer is likely heavily reliant on West Ham going down, which hasn't been confirmed yet. Wouldnt think it's true.

I’d hazard a guess you could take a player from West Ham whatever league they end up in, tbh.

Aye but you'd think the cost would be significantly higher if they stay in the league. Think we're looking at him as a budget option.

They paid £40m for him didn't they? Even if they go down I'm not sure they'll be selling him at a budget price

Pretty sure they are in a really bad financial state, they might not be able to choose who they sell and/or for how much

If they go down they need to raise around 100mil in player sales according to some reports.

Fernandes, Bowen, Summerville and Diouf sales may cover it.
