Next Mbeumo will choose Spurs

He would need to, because they'll offer the same money as us and they have CL football.

Can't deny that glorious Man United pull if he still chooses us.

If the Glorious Man United pull still existed he wouldn't even consider Spurs

We don't know that he is. Even the Sky Sports journalist that gave the "exclusive" said in the very same article that his preference is still us.

Likewise, Romano confirmed this morning that we're still very much in for Gyokeres. Not sure whether to believe him or Fun88, sponsors of Newcastle and Spurs.

Either way, if they don't want to come that's also fine. I wish them the best.

Fun88 isn’t the source.

I know who the source is, it's Record Portugal. They're actually a banned source on Man United subreddits for talking utter shite.

Fun88 are the ones responsible for trying to spread it over here.

The whole pull thing is dying arrogance grabbing one of the security blankets it has left. No pull if it's not also paired with good money. It's irritating to watch the arrogance of an entire fanbase activate like, but hopefully it's just another stage of grief, pride before another fall, and that things keep getting worse.

"After having made an initial offer, OM decided to withdraw from the Roony Bardghji case. The 19-year-old winger is still experiencing pain in his knee and OM does not want to take any risks in this operation. Porto is now the only team in the running in the dossier"

Have you seen a fan actually saying it with a straight face though?

Nobody is saying this stuff except lads on twitter and then other fanbases try their best to jump on it.

Of course Man United have pull, but it's obviously combined with very nice wages. Not as high as opposition fans like to think, but high nonetheless.

I've only seen it said with a straight face. I think everyone with any experience of Man United's fanbase over the years knows that even when it's tongue in cheek, it's also still what the majority actually believe.

I'll admit that it's only online that I've seen it, but it's not just Twitter, it's everywhere.

My two older brothers support Man U, it's not just an online thing

Depends on the extremes to be fair.

Thinking any player would pick Man United over anywhere else is stupid.

Thinking Man United have no pull is also stupid.
