Any feedback from the TF forum, last night? Was at work, so couldn't make it.

Really enjoyed listening to that, some great panellists. We just need to keep disrupting ashley, his companies, his associates and SD's biggest shareholders. It's working

Excellent stuff via the guest speakers from Liverpool and Rangers. Listened to it twice via Bluetooth in the car. Well worth a listen, skip to 56m for the more interesting contributions.

Look at how their's been nothing since about the Peter Kenyon story since Sky News broke it.  More Bishop bollocks.

Was thinking the same thing! And not sure how to feel about it if it were to be true.

Going from a cunt of an owner who won’t spend money to investors from a place with the worst human rights record in the world, who also happen to be wiping Yemen off the map.

Could we turn a blind eye to it if they bankrolled the club to success?

To add to my previous post, some specific soundbytes -

Go after what Ashley loves - money firstly, Sports Direct.

Jay (Liverpool, Spirit of Shankly)

This isn't about Rafa, I love him, you's love him, but he's not here forever, you'd are. You don't need to embarass Ashley, you don't need to tell anyone he's bad - everyone knows he's a cunt.

Go after the main shareholders, make a connection between your unhappiness and Ashley.

Craig (Rangers)

You will win. You were here before him and you will be here after he has gone. Your efforts dictate how long that will take.

When your Grandson is sat on your knee and asks

"What did you do Granda to get rid of the bad man Ashley?

Do you want to tell him you did nothing because someone on Twitter said it would not do any good?

Do whatever you can, just don't do nothing.

Sports Direct share holders, target the top 5. Tell them you're next!

Tell them if you don't fix this we'll come after you next.

They will pile the pressure on in a way you cannot.

Having two national journalists on your side (George Caulkin & Luke Edwards) already is a huge plus. It took us months to get that. They can tell your stories but you have to make the story. Protest, research, dig and find the information. Whether it's finances or protests, that's a story they can tell.

Jay: Ignore the criticism, people will agree with you years after the fact through revisionism. Just get on with doing it. Don't waste time arguing.

Craig: Your fellow fan that doesn't agree with you is not your enemy, don't waste your time arguing. Keep focus on the enemy, Ashley.

Nelson Mandela couldn't own a football club, Robert Mugabe could.

Forget fit and proper person tests, the Premier League is a closed Consortium only interested in preserving their revenue flow.

Really enjoyed that, notice on Twitter today too that ifrafagoeswego has started to attack majority shareholders for SD, so clearly influenced by the talk in. They don't like it either, plus Norwegian football supporters have got a sniff and are joining in. Feels like this could be the end game now, this is not blowing over.

Nice, is this list the majority shareholders in SD?

Yeah, that's what's doing the rounds, it's Norges Bank that has taken some abuse from Norwegian football supporters

Absolute genius idea to go after the major shareholders

As major shareholders of the company, @odeyview @phoenixassets @Schroders @SchrodersPR @NorgesBank @Fidelity_UK may be interested to hear your views on @SportsDirectUK . Just saying. #AshleyOut #NotBlowingOver #NUFC

Do your work people.

I work with Fidelity from time to time. Had no idea they were involved with SD.

They’re big on corporate responsibility and would quickly take notice of the situation (if presented in the right way*)

*thats the important part. Incoherent posts on twitter will do nothing here. A well put together ppt. doc would be ideal.

A lot depends on through which funds those institutions hold the SD shares. If the funds are FTSE trackers for example, then there isn't really much that can be done as the shares are in the index so should be tracked as well as possible. Some trackers have ethical carve outs but these tends to be sector specific and not company specific.

Active funds are more likely to have an ESG policy and if SD were to contravene that policy then it would merit further consideration by the fund manager. Also helps if you are a genuine fundholder as you can go through Customer / Investor relations and not just a generic corporate black hole. There will be plenty of people indirectly holding the shares without even realising it.

One final thing to bear in mind is that most of these institutions hate Ashley.

These people don't wait, they want success yesterday. Couldn't imagine them wanting to wait several seasons for us to catch up.

And with Utd even at 4bn the brand is already huge.
