The club clearly isn't worth £300m once the books has been looked at.

Is it fuck, and he knows it.  Only thing is, he couldn't give a fuck, he wants what it's worth + his slice on top and then some.

Only way we're getting out from under him is if some fucker with cash to burn rocks up and throws enough to keep the man child happy.

It's just more of the same isn't it? Ashley has played the fan base for fools again and it's worked. He must be laughing his tits off. Part of me thinks he would accept relegation, as he could appoint a new manager and bankroll a promotion push. Repeat ad nauseum.

This club is doomed.

Groups of businessmen and advisors have scrutinised the books through due diligence and came up with a valuation which is the correct valuation (200m approx.) and because fatty doesn't agree all bets are off

Its no co incidence that its been reported supposedly that 2 people have now offered 200-250m

The FCB is not going to get 300m plus as the club is not worth that and there needs to be an investment of approx. another 250m in recruitment/stadium upgrade and refurb/training facilities

All in buying NUFC is roughly a 500m investment initially and after perusing the books most people will probably say nah fuck that

Rinse and repeat until the fat cunt dies

It’s not just The Sun btw, Mirror are saying it’s all pretty much collapsed aswell.

Was obvious how this was going to play out.

Two of the worst red tops.

I'll wait to see what Caulkin, Edwards or even the likes of Douglas has to say. It's the same story rehashed again FFS.

None of the media can be trusted tbh.  Think lots of smoke and mirrors around the whole situation.  It stinks.

No one's going to be shocked if/when any takeover attempt collapses, but there's no reason to think either of those reports are true.

Like said, probably just an Ashley negotiating tactic.

Not sure it’s an Ashley tactic, but I have no faith in either of those being able to get anything right. Those two newspapers are only good for stirring up shit.

With the squad in the state that it is, this club is never worth £300. It’s all a fucking ploy by the sensitive fat cunt to stop the protests.

We’re like the Mackems were before they went down. Flirting with relegation every year and stinking up the league with shit football.

What’s the big football news of the day? ‘Liverpool wrap up the title’.

The sun can’t write that, they get no coverage in Liverpool and saying anything good about them goes against everything that rag stands for.

Man Utd have already sacked Mourinho, so that’s that story gone.

The next easy thing to write about is us and when you don’t have a fucking clue about what’s happening, the safest and easiest way of gaining a story about it is to write it negatively.

I’m not saying the deal is on, just saying that rag in particular should not be trusted as a reliable source of information.

Regardless whether they're a shit rag, what they say is basically what a lot of us on here have been saying for the past few weeks.  Pretty sure it's going to end how they are saying but we didn't need them to tell us.

Most likely an educated guess on their part, and most likely right.
