Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

This can’t be true, can it?

The final part to the deal the Sunderland fan did when he sold his soul to the devil for 6 wins in a row against us. They get back to back relegations, lose the play off final, and we get a mega rich owner and some silverware.

The devil always wins.

This guy is a running joke in the UAE - the black sheep/whipping boy of the royal family whose personal wealth is relatively paltry compared to more senior members of the Al Nahyan dynasty. The Liverpool deal fell through because they realised they were dealing with a fantasist who didn't actually have access to the cash being talked about.

This will end in tears one way or another.
