He says it and they just repeat it, presumably because if you researched it, you'd turn his Guantanamo Bay torture football off after 10 minutes and just resort to taking his word for it instead. He's been the best player in a team going for and winning the title for the past however many years. There's not a lot of room to manoeuvre in terms of going up a level.
