Good chance they go up this season if they finish in the playoffs. I think with a takeover that buzz and excitement will push them across the line.

If it does happen the young lad has bought a shell of a club. It has its downfalls but also means it’s stripped back and a blank canvass to do what he wants. He’ll need deep pockets, think it’s £20m to keep the club in the championship plus tripling their wages with no income and another £100m to get it knocking on the prem door. If he thinks he can do it on the cheap then he’s hugely mistaken, if he’s coming in to it eyes wide open and willing to burn money like short then he’s got a shot of building a premiership club in the next 3-4 years, but still no guarantee. So if he had a spare £200m then he could have bought Burnley and had money left over.

Going to be interesting and the game on Saturday against Doncaster is huge. They still have to go to Hull, Pompey and Posh also. Think it will be nip and tuck if they make it especially as Oxford have been storming results lately and Charlton have picked up a bit also. They think they have a team which should walk the league, despit being down there for three years and seemingly only being top of the league for a period of 2 - 3 weeks over that time.

Might be mistaken but they’ve done alright against those above them this season. Tends to be the teams outside the playoffs, like themselves, they struggle against.

You're right most at home though, going to be interesting how they get on in the return fixtures starting this weekend. They have been lucky that the top teams have been dropping points at the same time during this period, which has meant they are still in touch of the playoffs. Would take some run for them to be promoted automatically and they've not shown any signs of doing that.

 way weaker overall this season, including themselves, compared to the last two looking in from afar.

Turning on the Magedia again.

Here they go again. They won’t protest themselves which would publicise their current discontent because that would be ‘magesque’ yet they expect journalists to write a whole raft of articles about it instead. If the fans don’t give a single fuck why should journalists?

Sunderland AFC - ‘Can’t someone else do it’

There's someone else in the replies basically saying that - for all he hates our fans, we make a noise about MA, so it gets attention. Both you and he have hit the nail on the head.

Do we? There's a bit of discontent online but we've never really protested against him in the real world. Plenty of other clubs' fans would've had him out the door years ago.
