Hahaha, I'm guessing the BBQ thing was a joke, it's just a funny image.

But yeah, the whole smoke bomb is weird. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they've come up with with that flag, mind ?

I like how respectful the title of this thread is. [emoji38]

In our forum the name of our biggest rival's trhead translates to something like "Coxa just get's screwed" (coxa-branca[white-tighs] is Coritiba's nickname, due to their racist past, black players couldnt' play for them, so they became known as coxas-brancas).

I have no doubt that will have happened, I'm just surprised the story didn't end with a bbq turd that his mate plopped onto the terraces

It changes now and again but gently mocking at most. Have a look on their place though, they are deranged, much to our amusement.

How many times have they had a striker score 15 goals two years running in the PL? (or us for that matter in recent years) One season those goals were key to keeping them up, the next it's quite a remarkable haul for a team bottom of the league. He also got the derby goals and, crucially, engaged in the community while playing well. In terms of number of games played and time spent there, he played more and was there longer than Sir Les for us. And he's now going back for a second spell. Legend is a bit much but understand the affection.

Of all the many things to loathe about these cunts, one of the most prominent is their stunning hypocrisy. When Rafa was here they jibed us that we were only happy to have him because he was a big name whose association with NUFC gave us some relevance and elevated our status as a club, and that we rated him based on his achievements with his previous clubs.

Yet here they are, getting their knickers in a twist over a bloke who has one promotion success on his CV, yet because he is a big name within the game they can overlook the fact that he was sacked by them and also failed badly in his other managerial job. Desperate for some media limelight, they are prepared to ignore all of the glaring red flags that come with the appointment of Keane. At least Rafa was a proven winner in his previous jobs and hadn't been out of the game for 11 years.

KK had been out of the game for less than 3 years when he came back to NUFC in 2008. He had also been a success in every managerial job that he had previously had, bar the England one.

Coming to us fresh in 1992 is irrelevant. Every manager has to start somewhere,

Its not Keane's time out of the game that is the issue though, it's the fact that he has done nothing as a manager to warrant the Mackems fawning over him for the job. Except of course, that he is still a high profile name in the game. That's it.

Grant McCann allegedly then; Keane has fucked them off.

He’ll be hounded out by Christmas.

If he takes it, it’ll be the worst decision a McCann has made since Kate and Gerry went out and left the bedroom window open.
