They are on to part 4 of the sportswashing thread, the more we win the quicker they'll get to part 5

They convinced themselves that we would be in the same league next season, with that gone their season is ruined, even if they somehow get to and through the play offs they are broken

My god these are desperate now. Just had a look on ready to groom. The human rights/Yemen thing is all they have to cling onto now that we’re winning games. No more laughing at us playing them next season marra anymore. If they are serious about the Saudis they need to be campaigning and writing letters to their local MPs, not crying on a football forum, but they won’t because half of them are illiterate and they didn’t give a fuck about human rights before PIF bought us and they didn’t even know where Yemen is. Funny how they laughed when PIF pulled out and weren’t concerned about human rights then.

If Sunderland fans organised a picket line of our stadium because of Yemen, I would, even given the transparency of the act, support and refuse to cross it.

But they won't. Because they don't actually care.

All you have to do is look at the time our takeover was initially knocked back to see the same fuckers laughing for one reason and it had fuck all to do with Saudi ownership. Not one mention of their faux outrage then.

How morally correct the majority would kick the fuck out of the hypocritical faux outrage cunts.

"The prospect of them becoming a top side bankrolled by Arabs whilst we linger down here was too much to contemplate.

It would have been the death of this club's future fanbase and catchment area, which is already still wounded from the 1990s."

Not much concern for Yemen and talk of how evil the Saudis are there is there? Nothing about how it’s good Newcastle weren’t falling into the wrong hands. They’re a bunch of arseholes.

Be class if someone could post that quote and link it on their forum today.

I would but I got banned ages ago.

Really they should have been devastated when PIF puled out, if they were in any way consistent.

Instead, mackematics dictates they have to say everything that happens to us is good news for them.

Takeover off? "Brilliant, they'll not be rich"

Takeover back on? "Brilliant, they're owned by evil people and they've lost their club"

Amongst all groups of people I've ever encountered, they're unique in being completely incapable of being even remotely objective or doing any kind of critical thinking.

I think it's partly the massive bitterness they clearly all have about being the smaller of the 2 clubs - literally every metric says they are yet you'll never get even one of them to admit it, and partly the mob mentality on RTG where even the slightest deviation from their fake narrative is met with screams of "MAAAAG!" and the poster hounded off the board. The whole board is just an echo chamber built around this alternative universe they've created in their own heads. Absolute weirdos. But hilarious for it, genuinely couldn't wish for better or more entertaining rivals, even if (or perhaps becasue!) most of them have only the vaguest grip on reality.

It’s the same with their shite Fairs Cup craic saying it doesn’t count because UEFA doesn’t recognise it, even though it was a FIFA idea.

Nothing we achieve "counts" in their eyes.

If/when we next win something, it won't count because we've "bought it" - Though I don't recall them discounting any other club's trophies over the last 20 years.

They're genuinely demented.

They absolutely 100% dont give a shit about Yemen. Its all performative bullshit to mither NUFC, hoy in a batch of misogyny about Amanda Stavely, a dash of anti-semitism to the Reubens and a shit-load of racism to the Saudi people.

Welcome to sunderland, the shithole of the region. Tommy Robinson doing a book signing there this weekend marras?

From The Bank of England club who got done for making illegal payments to players way back in the 50’s and had been doing so for at least 5 years (winning nowt while we won 3 FA Cups). Other clubs were no doubt doing it but it appears they were particularly dodgy.

The Inter Cities Fairs Cup / European Fairs Cup results are not detailed in the same way as it's replacement UEFA Cup / Europa League results are, on the UEFA Website, simply because another organisation ran it, not UEFA.

Of course that is the case as UEFA list "their competitions results" only, it is just the same principle as not being able to buy a 'Marks & Spencer labelled' jumper in 'Primark', and vice versa.

The European Fairs Cup, as it was called for most of the years we were in it from season 1969/1970 onward, was a much bigger tournament and far harder to win then, than it became later as the UEFA Cup, simply because each country only had one team in the European Cup (the 'Champions League' to be) at that time, so most of the top sides that are now in the Champions league, were playing in the Fairs Cup.

However, all of those facts do not suit the 'brain-dead' agendas of certain morons !!!
