vexred
Desperate for him to be sold in the summer.
ChrisMcQuillan
I've long defended him, but tonight's one of the worst footballing performances I've ever seen.
UncleBingo
Fucking abysmal. The mere sight of him sends me into a rage.

Fair enough, he’s a bit of a square peg because of how threadbare the midfield has been but he’s been horrendous tonight.
nufc123
Joke of a performance.
HaydnNUFC
That performance tonight.
SiLvOR
He's regressed massively these last few months. Back to Bruce era form. Hopefully with Ando and Willock coming back, Longstaff can be dropped for a few games
Jordan
Absolutely dreadful tonight. Can’t wait to see another anonymous full game from him at the weekend.
KaKa
All the progress made last year and he gets injured and ends up back at square one. Incredibly infuriating player when he is back to his deer in headlights panicky state. Have some self belief man and for goodness sake bend your knees and stop playing so upright and stiff. Ronson333
Senior pro but didn’t step up for a pen, at least young Elliot did! Edited February 27 by Ronson333
Menace
He's got Dyche at Everton written all over him
gbandit
Hard to say anything remotely positive after that. There are a lot of things you can’t control but he could cut out his flopping tomorrow and it would be an instant improvement. You cannot be laying on the ground after someone tackles you by winning the ball

Someone made a post in here saying someone close to him says he's terrified of getting sold in the summer - I believe it. Even during last year, he constantly talked about Howe assuring him of his role at the club, how important he is to the team etc. Must have zero self belief in himself. Sad really. I've always maintained he is better than he thinks he is. Always looks like he's unsure of himself and that's what ends up affecting his performances more than anything. Seriously needs to get over it and just focus on applying himself on the pitch.
Big Geordie
The lad hasn't been right since he came back from his inury. Must be sweating on his place, once everyone is fit and available.

Checko
Yeah he does come across to me as someone who lacks a bit in self-belief, which probably makes him a nicer person but a less effective fotbaler. He does have the most pornstar name in the premier league though, and those are the sort of intangibles you can't coach.
Terrymac1966
Poor display he is weak in the tackle cant finish and passes poorly....Eddie will continue to play him however...why is anyones guess Dont pressure Eddie about a player as he is more likely to be picked as a result
AyeDubbleYoo
Will be interesting to see now we have Willock, Anderson and Miley available. IMO all three should really be starting ahead of Longstaff.
