Convinced he is playing through an injury. Which if true, is quite commendable. He’s never been the most agile. But that one early on where he took 3 touches, all nowhere near him and still managed to run it out. Wow.

He isn’t as mobile as last season and seems scared to snap into tackles. I’m sure he used to be more physical? The fact he is flopping/diving even

ore than usual would also tie in with that.

Not sure what's up with him, he's been below average for a while. I really do hope he finds what he's lost and gets back on it. When he's playing well so do we. Could be we cannot afford a passenger in such a key area, or could be the sign he is a good player  on his day.

Injury or no injury. He’s a headless chicken and all he offers is running. I roll my eyes whenever he’s on the ball. I have no idea how there isn’t a single player Eddie rates above him who can plug in at CM. He and Burn have been boiling my blood for weeks now.

Last 10 minutes you'd not have been able to pick out which one of our midfield was the 17 year old kid, which one has just spent 3 years at Hartlepool, Exeter and Crewe, and who's played nearly 150 games for us in the Premier League.

He is slow in both football intelligence and in footballing ability. He is so weak on the ball and has no recovery pace when he inevitably loses possession. First one that needs replacing in the summer.

Its over.  Good lad, part of the fabric, would like it to work but after holdin down the fort to a degree he's painfully falling behind the pace of what's required for us now - more Brian Kerr than Lee Clark in that regard.
