You don't rate him, that's fine, but what has he ever done to deserve that vitriol? He's a local lad who's always given his best effort, went through serious depression and had his development halted by Steve Bruce and as a result never developed into the player he had the potential to be. Well it's not to be taken that seriously, I'd hardley celebrate but would certainly find a bit of hilarity in Man U's recruitment policy. gbandit
Perfect diplomacy and integrity there. Everyone should respect Sean for how much heās given to the club and how hard he works but itās definitely the right time for him to get away from the club and work on his game without the pressures of playing in front of our fans. I think it gets too much for him. If he plays in a side that isnāt possession-based then he can still be a good premier league player for a team that presses constantlyĀ
Joelinton7
He may just mean itās unclear in terms of his potential first team game time going into the future, so then itās really up to Sean what he wants to do. Not that weāre necessarily actively wanting or trying to sell him.Ā Edited April 4 by Joelinton7

I think Sean might be content with that too.

As well as being technically limited heās very physically slow and not athletic.Ā
aussiemag
His biggest issue is his mentality. When heās confident his passing and technique is of a premier league standard. His stamina is definitely very high and his positional sense is great. Finds himself in goal scoring positions a lot for a midfielder. But just lacks real confidence.Ā
Tonalis Bookie
long term future doesnt refer to not playing, if there isnt any movement expected Eddie always plays it with a straight bat and says how important they are to the team and squad. Ā Beginning of the end for a 100% PSR player if you ask me
aussiemag
The issue we have is home grown quota for Europe next season. Do we get Forster or Krul as a third choice? Adam Armstrong as a squad player? We only have Miley that would count. Elliot Anderson would be canny.Ā

Technically he is extremely limited but in a side that doesnāt have the ball heād do a good job of hounding people in the right system and then he just needs to offload the ball to a better player. He does have good movement for coming onto the ball in the final third too
Ellis H
If weāre in the Conference League I think heāll stay as heās perfect for the first half of that. Weāve got a lot of players/positions to upgrade this summer and Iād say heās not near the top of the list.

Sibierski
After the league cup win, think even Sean must have his mind made up now that itās time to go. Heās achieved childhood goal and he can get himself either a lower end prem club or top end champ club where heāll be back in Prem. On a nice long contract, and be happy he was involved in that first domestic trophy for 70 years.Ā Ā No reason for him to stay and get scratch minutes now. Makes signing talented 19 year olds or younger key this summer, because academy wonāt be filling out those spots just yet. Ā
