But I agree with what was said earlier here, not a single CB in football profiles like Fab. Guehi was the intended Schär replacement I would think. Unless you meant type of CB, then sure. KaKa
Fabian Schar with a disgustingly bad chipped pass to the opposition for no reason.
Pilko
Exhibit A of why we need his long-term replacement in this summer, today. He's still valuable but against someone with pace and great movement like Watkins he's not up to it anymore, sadly.
Smal
one of his best performances at the weekend to one of his very worst. Been at fault for most of their goals.
Colos Short and Curlies
Tbf the yellow has fucked him this game, he's not been able to get close as it would have been an inevitable red

Then the team knows they are playing with 10. He was that bad today.
buzza
Schar was abysmal today, slow to react and beaten to every ball, can't remember him winning a header either. Worst game this season. A pacy right centre back is needed this summer
KaKa
When this guy decides to have a stinker, man does he go all out.
Kid Icarus
He was hung out to dry, don't really blame him or Burn. Being slow against Ollie Watkins isn't being bad, our tactics needed to account for that and didn't. Edited April 19 by Kid Icarus
Newcastle Fan
Watkins has his number today, but considering how consistent he's been lately its fine to have a one off stinker.
PauloGeordio
He scored for us! I’ll remember that rather than the stinker! (Better be back to his best come next Saturday ).

We totally played into Villa's hands and the threat of runners exposing our ageing defence was evident in the first couple of Villa attacks.
Gallowgate Toon
Felt like the exact same as at their place 2 years ago. Watkins dragging out to channels and winning the physical battle.

Watkins dragging out to channels and winning the physical battle. Yeah I knew from the first few minutes it was going to be a game reminiscent of that defeat a few seasons ago. We just couldn’t compete with the running power and the pace they have in the team. That’s always been my issue with our squad, we need to fix that in the summer Edited April 19 by andyc35i

Kanj
He was fucking brilliant in the main for a long run and had a tough game. He had a physical battle with Mateta who usually gives him issues. All good. Swiss legend.
tinoasprilla
I thought the whole right side was poor defensively. Murphy had a poor game, Bruno was looking tired, trippier ok and Schar got not a lot of help from burn who seemed to get dragged out of position a lot. Bad day at the office in a cracking season

Poor defensively, poor moving forward and his set pieces were terrible also

Bad day at the office in a cracking season Trippier was the one getting dragged out of position - he was completely at fault for the second because of it. What’s annoying is he did the same thing at VP two seasons ago, and he hasn’t got quicker since
AyeDubbleYoo
Haven't watched it back but I thought Murphy was the only one who had the chance to track Maatsen for his goal. Maybe because Trippier had already been dragged inside. The one thing they could do is let him take on Schar down the outside and shoot with his left.
