We're going to be involved in a lot of tight games because of Rafa's organisation basically, but we can't do anything if we keep getting shit decisions like that go against us. look, having to play like that for 90 mins is inviting shit decisions, shit tackles, cards...............its shit tactics sorry and very very rarely gets you anything. Worst team in the league when we want to. Not really. Seen far worse. We defended really well. Still we let in 2. Rather we have a go and lose, than not trying at all. This game was lost before it started. Missing Shelvey and leaving Lascelles obviously didn't help, but this was shocking. It absolutely was not lost before it started. We defended very well, and until they got that dodgy penalty they weren't really all that threatening. Tactics spot on today. What happened to trying to win a game? Sure you're the one that asked if he had even won the ball back at all in like the 60th minute when he won it back fantastically only about 3 or 4 minutes into the game. Talking shit. He also gave the ball away at least 3 times in the first 35 minutes on the rare occasions we had the ball. Can't judge him after one game, but today he was unquestionably poor. Hope he improves. Rafa's tactics got this squad to 10th last season man Give your head a shake. i'm going on about one game, i trust Rafa 100% , i just don't get this defending him playing like this, 9/10 we'd lose playing like this, have a go and maybe 3/10 we'd win? not doubting and not fretting about relegation at all, just this match , we will stay up i just take no positives out of playing like that. Do you honestly think if we'd gone at them and tried to make a game of it we'd have been on the receiving end of anything other than a comprehensive drubbing?
