I realized that i was there when he scored both his first and last goal for the club, i remember that Palace game where he got his first goal for us i was complaining about how useless he is then Carroll nodded it down to him and he won us the game.

 

I've been one of his biggest critics on here and honestly think he's one of the dumbest footballers I've ever seen, so terrible that he was the gold standard for shit wingers, and then he had his purple patch and helped take us to the Champions league so in a way he managed to ensure he will be remembered fondly here, we should've upgraded him a long time ago but now that he's gone i wish him nothing but the best.

Played non league with Billy Askew and Archie Gourlay after they left the Toon, two of the funniest team mates I've ever had but to think of them in the Premier League oosh! Fereday too made Obertan look cultured! but yeah Almiron Premier league and and Champions league goal scorer was the gold standard!
