triggs
Disagreed last night with whoever mentioned it but one legged ties are clearly the way to go for more underdogs winning PSG won? Well like the underdog isn't going to win literally every game like neesy Atalanta almost beat them without their best player as well
NUFCDoog
These last 4 nights have been fantastic, every game has been brilliant and had some good drama during it, great stuff
KaKa
Disagreed last night with whoever mentioned it but one legged ties are clearly the way to go for more underdogs winning PSG won? Just about, but it was far more interesting with the added pressure. They almost blew it

Disco
Bit weird, you play for the club that has consigned it to be so disrespected and ruined.
Ketsbaia
The one-legged ties have been brilliant but we've had some two-legged thrillers in recent years. The latter stages of the Champions League are just fantastic in general.

Aye Ligue 1 was getting mad respect when Montpellier and Lille were winning it It was a lot more respected before the Qataris came for PSG wasn't it? Especially in the 90s and Lyon and MArseille did well in the 2000s
TheInfiniteOdyssey
Didn’t Lyon win it seven years in a row though in the 2000s?
Disco
Didn’t Lyon win it seven years in a row though in the 2000s? By being extremely well run and having an amazing youth and scouting system.

Infinitely Content
Mostly surprised Bernardo Silva didn't get anywhere the pitch tonight... he's one of City's best players. He should look to move on imo, too good to be a bit-part player. Foden should have played too, shite from Pep selection/formation wise in all honesty. Credit to Lyon though. Jaqen
Disagreed last night with whoever mentioned it but one legged ties are clearly the way to go for more underdogs winning Knockout stages should always be single-match. Think it only works as there's no spectators at the moment. Neutral venues would be a right pisser for fans to have to travel to each round. Having it at one teams ground would give them way too much of advatange.
The College Dropout
This loss is not so much down to Pep’s tinkering. But moreso Terrible squad building over the last 2 years. He’s been playing both Rodri and Gundogan in midfield because each is too slow, immobile to hold the midfield together by themselves the way Fernandinho could a few years ago. If he plays Rodri alone with Foden and KDB they get overran in midfield. Never replaced Kompany. That back line lacks pace, power and leadership. Fernandinho at least gives you the latter. Mahrez is an excellent player. But they’ve missed Sane. That ability to play super vertically is gone. Too many of their players want the ball into feet. KaKa
He hardly ever really plays Rodri and Gundogan together. He usually plays one of them sitting (Or Fernandinho) with DeBruyne and David Silva in central midfield alongside. Only did it yesterday because he was seemingly nervous. Unbelievable that he started the game with Both Silvas, Foden and Mahrez on the bench. Pep pretty much bottled it. Went too defensive with Fernandinho, Rodri and Gundogan starting. Away Toon
Any other club would be looking at the shambolic season that city have had by their standards, and thinking someone has to pay for this shit and that would be the manager.
