What will people's opinions on it all be if we are in exactly the same position in 2 weeks time with nothing at all happening and Rafas contract a week away fron ending. What would the reaction be if Ashley comes out in 3 weeks and says we are stuck together and there was never any serious bids and they were all wasting his time. Fairly sure it’s illegal to put the shieks name in there and the lawyers. If it was fake the lawyers would have had it removed by now. Isnt "Sheikh" reserved for Royalty over there? Yet in that Monochrome Acquisitions filing it says Sheikh Midhat and he is supposedly British, also Khaled's name doesnt have Sheikh written. CountyDurhamMag has adopted Gallowgate Ends posting style but without the investigative nature, he remains convinced this is an Ashley masterstroke. Couple of the regular posters are off to the Lake District on holiday. TBG has got big problems with his Mazda. James reckons its all on hold, at least for a few days, because a bus crashed in Abu Dhabi, or Dubai, I wasn't really paying too much attention, but 17 people died so its quite sad anyway. Pretty sure Mike Ashley didn’t tell them to look like they bid for Liverpool My only question mark is do they actually have the money to get it done rather than just having another agreement. STM Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 Despite all the evidence to the contrary, I do worry this takeover will fall flat on its arse and we will be in an absolute shambles. I know their not the best but all of the NUFC journalists seem to be getting the same messages, that it's either no where near or that it wont happen. Even the likes of Caulkin wont say he thinks it might happen. I honestly dont know in what scenario it would fall through, as I dont believe all the conspiracy stuff, far too much money has been poured in at this stage. Does anyone else that impending sense of inevitable doom? Edit: Its semi irrational but it just feels so very Newcastle to allow us to see the light before switching it off again. Somebody like Sherwood will take the reins. We'll be buying (ha!) shit players in what remains of the transfer window. There'll be a depression across the whole city (but that won't stop 52,000 turning up every other week). We can write off the club, never mind the season.
