Heard back from the guys in Abu Dhabi, they are very serious and it looks very likely this will happen,  the guy definitely has the cash but he is a business man at the end of the day, unlike city who are funded by the sovereign wealth fund of the Abu Dhabi government, expecting good things

Can see our revenue grow pretty quickly (should)

We should easily treble our commercial revenue and at least double the matchday revenue in the next few years - all it takes is to do the right things and the club can grow organically to become a top 8 club easily

We won't double match-day revenue, most games are close to being sold out.

who said owt about 200m,  give rafa 60- 80 plus sales and some support and he will grow it.

Top top players are getting dearer. It’s £80 million plus wages etc, £100m investment in just one top player, Sanchez is on £18m a year , 3 year deal =£54 m in wages .....Bale is on around €600k a week ffs €30 million a year plus £90 m to sign him ffs, this is the top end

We will be a mid table side, this guy seems to not have zillions.

If he's connected to the royal family, he's not going to buy a club to finish 10th. He might not have a limitless pot of money, but he'll want to win stuff I would imagine.

The price of season tickets and match day tickets could go up. Better product means more can be charged.

Do we really want to be pricing people out of games?  The one thing ashley has done good imo is make it easier for families to go to matches tbf.

its a double edged sword, neesy - sports business 101 is to raise ticket prices to increase revenue. the other angles are basically increase all other forms of revenue streams via sponsors and raising prices for merchandise etc.

Martin Hardy's doing bits for these guys now:

Those close to Ashley insist he will want guarantees that any new owners can move the club forward.

I hate how that always comes up, such fuckin bullshit.
