Infinitely Content
Officially stripped of the number 9. Sorry, son. Sorry you were so shite... They've done him a massive favour with that move, and it's the right decision. I was hoping they would do that, but wasn't sure they actually would. It was just an added pressure on the guy. Menace
Funnily enough wasn't even the worst transfer last season. I'd give that honour to Spurs Tanguy Ndombele signing. Ndombele will get another move. Who in the right minds would touch Joelinton?

KaKa
Loan him out to get his value back up initially I think.
triggs
That guy cost £54 million man. Really awful deal. Ndombele is actually a good player though. We paid £40m for a bloke with one season in the Bundesliga where he didn't get into double figures
KaKa
That guy cost £54 million man. Really awful deal. Ndombele is actually a good player though. We paid £40m for a bloke with one season in the Bundesliga where he didn't get into double figures It was his first season, and he played in a number of different positions. Look, the guy was highly rated in Germany man whether we like it or not. Nagelsman was going to take him to RB Leipzig until we came in. There's a reason Hoffenheim felt they could ask £40 million for him after all. I hope he gets a move back over there with a manager that knows him well, so he can get back on track. Wasn't his fault MA decided to take such a crazy risk on a player ill suited to us, just because he was in a good mood or something,

Disco
Not that he could get any worse but I think he'll have a better season this year, if we manage him well (lol). Get some confidence coming off the bench and playing anywhere in the 3 behind Wilson - he's much more suited to that sort of position rather than leading the line. Possibility he could play in a front 2 at times as well. I still think he's gash but I'd be amazed if he's not a fair bit better this season with this in mind. Being out of the limelight mentally will probably do him the world of good too.
GeordieDazzler
One of the guys on Tifo is still adamant there is an good player there and that he's just been played out of position. With Wilson and possibly another CF on loan could free him up to play a little deeper.

He is a luxury player without the luxury. There is likely talent there but I doubt Bruce and co. will find it, that we set up to utilize him or can afford to give him chances in another relegation avoidance year. La Parka
Honestly have no idea of what he is. He barely showed any sign of forward like intent. He offered little as an inside forward. He's not got the vision or creativity for attacking midfield...

Kanj
Even better to me that MA basically and likely didn’t work something out for Rafa because he had a weird obsession with signing Joelinton.
Decky
With Wilson taking up the number 9 role I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Joelinton gets on. I was sick to death of him last year but its clear that he wasn't comfortable in that position. Still only just turned 24 too so there's plenty of room for improvement. Kanj
Could see him duking it out with Almiron as a 10 or withdrawn striker to be honest. Could even see him playing wing with ASM playing behind Wilson.

Newcastle Fan
He's fucking shit, that's all there is to it, nothing about him being played out of position, he doesn't press that well, he can't really run with the ball or kick it properly, he can't assist or dribble past players, or even hold up the ball, how someone saw a 40 million player in him is beyond me. Unbelievable
Permanent please, thank you very much. We finally got rid of Riviere after all those years then replaced him with this lad. Oh what Rafa could have done with 40m.
St1pe
There’s is absolutely no way the club are prepared to lose a £40m investment for what would be a significantly reduced fee. He’s has a bad season, he’s young. People are too quick to write players off. I’m still in the camp that he’ll come good in the right circumstances.
