Miley seems more of a Bruno swap out for me, not sure he's really suited to pulling out wide like Joelinton does. Never really seen him out on the left tbh. Yeah. I said similar in this thread or somewhere else about Miley. I’d still rather that against someone like Forest than playing Burn at left back v Elanga. Lush Vlad
Just getting all the quotes in from the Sky Sports app this morning. Doesn’t sound particularly promising regarding the timeframe. Quote When will Joelinton be ready to return? Newcastle boss Eddie Howe on when Joelinton will be fit to return: "We hope by that time [Carabao Cup Final] he will be back fit and available. "He is very driven to get back and is making good progress. "When he approaches his injury, he is very positive to get back and shave time off the estimated target that he has been given, which is a great thing, but also, we need to control that and make sure that he comes back in a really good place. He is very positive at the moment."
St1pe
I hate how we’re never open about longer lay-offs. I’m sure there’s probably a reason for it but as a fan the constantly extending injury periods is really frustrating. Especially for someone as important to how we play as Big Joe. Maggies
Hopefully he uses the time to heal fully and is back on form when he returns.
Fenham Mag
Cannot afford to risk his suspension in Brighton/West Ham games. Bring him back for the final, he is a starter.

Dr. TC
I thought he was brilliant tonight when few were. We've really missed him.
Lush Vlad
Yeah. Some brain dead fouls and his customary row Z shot. But that’s just Big Joe. Got to take the rough with the smooth. Hard to pick MOTM. No real standout and more flashes here and there. But he is up there with Trippier and Barnes, for me.
nemtizz
I like him a lot and he's easily our 3rd best CM but fuck me do we need to upgrade on him.

Vaj
Looked close to his best I thought. He’s vital on Sunday in a game we won’t have the ball much so it’s much needed.
gbandit
He looks back to a good level physically, which had been missing when he was clearly playing through an injury. I think if he can make Sunday a bruising encounter it could really help us. Just needs to thread the needle of combativeness
AyeDubbleYoo
When he’s really up and running he’s worth a place. When he’s struggling and we’re not playing well it’s obviously harder for him. But very happy we have the big 3 in midfield for the final.
