Mark Gillespie signs one-year contract extension (Hope)

Someone has to be a number 2 and a number 3 or even 4. Not all are going to be on high end wages and not all are going to be part of the homegrown requirement, so it makes sense to keep  Mark Gillespie and his wages will be pennies but his love for the club will be priceless.

I think I may have an example; when Pav returned to the club (under Roeder I think) didn't he have a run of games due to keeper injuries?

Came on for Given when he pulled his groin against Spurs and played the full game after.

Paid canny well to play a bit-part for the team he supports, training alongside some world class players, and with his 2 best mates there every day - Dummett and McDermott (became kitman after failing to make it at Heed iirc).

 

Amazing stuff.
