 He's summed up in one tweet why this season has been so fucking boring and annoying.

If Ashley hadn't already checked out he'd be tugging his rancid little gherkin clean off at the thought of how staggeringly mediocre it's been. Unreal year for the zombie crew.

Guest chopey

Craig Hope is ghost writing Mark Clattenburgs autobiography which will be a cracking read, I wonder if he mentions his jollys  at the Cheltenham festival with Niall Quinn.

Yup. Joelinton signing aside it couldn't have gone any better for the club.

Dissent from the stands quelled with enough of the fan base happy to tolerate having a local patsy in the dugout for it not to be an issue. Roll on the same next year.

One more match with this clueless cunt of a dinosaur as our 'Head Coach'

Pray to any God that will listen.......

...but at least he gave us attacking football, pleased all the biased useless fucking commentators and pundits, beat any record that Rafa ever had in his lifetime and is 'one of our own'.

Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will not be missed. Not one iota.

Profoundly bleak summary by .com, not that you can disagree with any of it. You know we're pretty lifeless when even these two are at the point of just shrugging their shoulders.

Depending on what Crystal Palace do in their final game, thirteenth could become fourteenth - but it's hard to find anyone who actually gives a toss at this point.

Feelings of detachment and indifference may have been exacerbated by the necessity of watching games on TV, but this has been the most unsatisfying of seasons - despite the praise showered on Bruce by pundits.

In the manager's own words, the job was done some weeks ago and tonight's game was of little consequence regardless of the outcome. That's something to be relieved about, not take a perverse pride in.

Sadly though that's increasingly become the norm round these parts, where even the opportunity to chuck a new face on was passed up tonight.

To say that there's a lack of appetite to line up again for more of the same within weeks is an understatement, even for diehard lunatics like us.

The phoney atmosphere of Project Restart games actually sums us up as a football club well at present: existing in a vacuum, devoid of air, life and hope.

COVID threatens to break the invisible bonds between club and fans that years of underachievement and shattered dreams couldn't.

If this club doesn't get sold, then the job that the current owner and management faces is an unenviable one: attempting to punt a non-existent dream to an increasingly disenchanted fanbase.

Perhaps uniquely, we may not have to worry about social distancing at matches when limited crowd return, because increasing numbers are realising that this lot isn't actually worth watching.

Succinctly put and you couldn’t argue against it.

I do like having the match on at work or at home on the weekends - but under current ownership, manager, and with 0 crowds - finding absolutely nothing to like about football.

Some on here will try, don’t you worry.

Bruce needs to beat Liverpool to better Rafa.

Impossible he is already done far better than Rafa. Amazing job he has done you know.

If Palace sneak a win at Spurs after we get thumped by Liverpool we could finish a place lower despite spending 25m more and Bruce getting 3 high profile loans in January. #progress.
