toontownman Posted August 29, 2020 Share Posted August 29, 2020 It is confidence rather than talent holding Murphy back. He just crumbled last time. Not sure he is cut out for top flight mentally. Can already see us "abandoning plans to sign a winger after Murphy impresses in pre season." Likely if we can get 10m for him we should cash in and put it towards a new winger. We wouldnt see than money though. I certainly hope he comes good but am not optimistic. He is probably a better option then atsu either way, as mentioned! I imagine Bruce’s style of management would help him as well. He’s also another than got a rough deal from a certain section of the fan base.
