buzza
Why we don't give Osula a chance is beyond me, he can't be any worse!
Jonas
Can only presume the logic in Wilson over Osula is to play Wilson into some sort of form, just getting a goal, and maybe something like what we've had over the years which would be massive for us at this point. You're not going to get that from Osula though he'd be more likely to get a goal and make things happen on the night, for all I don't rate him, least not at this level. duo
I don't get bringing him on instead of Osula when the game is more or less won.
Sibierski
Convinced him and Longstaff are just on a farewell tour, and Eddie is ensuring where possible they both get appearances because it could be their last.
ikri
Quote A man is sitting at a bar, drinking, and he says to no one in particular, "A man can spend his life building bridges. Do they call him John the Bridge Builder? No. A man can spend his life raising crops. Do they call him John the Farmer? No. But you fuck one goat . . ." That's where Wilson is with us now. He was brilliant for us in previous years, helped us stay in the league, propelled us into the Champion's League, got himself England caps on the back on his great performances. He's risking all of that being forgotten now and being remembered only for his poor performances.

I am convinced they keep playing Callum to help him try and earn a new contract.
Doctor Zaius
There's not much he can do when he's come on and we're just playing keep ball. Clearly we were just conserving energy last night and keeping it as it is for the last 20 minutes, with the odd chance of a breakaway goal.
Aiston
Literally zero reason to play him.
buzz
Has the mobility of Shefki Kuqi
Ronaldo
Er if he tried doing Kuqi’s goal celebration he’d need round the clock care.
David Edgar
I don't want to see him on the pitch in a Newcastle shirt again. The same that I wouldn't want to see Shearer or the corpse of Jackie Milburn on the pitch for us again. All three of them are finished.

Newcastle Fan
Similar to Almiron this season the only thing putting him on the pitch is doing is taking valuable minutes from players who need it.

duo
Just don't understand the rational for keep playing him other than to give him the chance to earn a new contract. He's so off the pace - Osula must be frustrated looking on and I don't blame him - missing value game / development time. ExiledGeordie
I’m surprised Osula doesn’t get more of a look in, Wilson looks miles off it
El Prontonise
Like I understand the throwing him on for the first 3/4 games but now it's like they are trying to do him a favour etc. Quite weird. Has he even had a proper chance on the sub cameos?
Jonas
I'm saying this as someone who doesn't rate Osula and will be shocked if has a PL career with anyone but at least there's a chance of him doing something, being a nuisance at worst.
midds
The only possible reason for bringing him on before Osula is for his experience, nothing else. However, that becomes irrelevant when you take into account how slow he's become and completely detached from the game, he can't even get anywhere near the ball, what's the point?
