KaKa Posted March 7, 2021 Share Posted March 7, 2021 Remember Scott Parker getting stick on here at the start of the season when they started slowly, but you could see even then what he was trying to do. The new players have all settled in now, and they are performing really well, despite not having a real goal threat up front. Happy for Parker. Really hope they stay up. Totally clueless at the back, but always kept playing it around quickly and played good stuff. Could see they had something about them, but were just hapless with who they had at the back. Conjo Posted March 7, 2021 Share Posted March 7, 2021 Watching Rosenborg in the champions league back in the 90's looking back at it was kinda magic. It felt like the whole country turned into Rosenborg fans during their matches, and then everyone outside of Trondheim area went back to hating them right afterwards. They were a very good side back then, so it's not the same as a PL winning team ending below a Norwegian team in the CL group today. The eastern european teams back then didn't lose so many players to the bigger leagues either so suspect those teams were better compared to PL teams back then unlike now.
