Aye, Sunderland can win 4 games in this division back to back. 5 wins in 7 type stuff. Not certain they're down.

If it was a case of finish above Norwich and we'll be safe, I would be optimistic but I don't think it's that simple. WBA, BOurnemouth & Swansea won't get relegated. Even Palace will limp over the line.

Ourselves & Norwich are the only clubs apart from Villa that don't look able to get 12 points from 5/6 games in the PL over a long period of time.

Don't get how people are saying that Sunderland are gone already. They're only 2 points behind us and have been in this position for years now before they drag themselves out of it with a week to go.

We're relying on them finally falling apart this time around, as well as hoping we pick up enough points to overtake Norwich. Everyone else above them will be fine.

Agree with this and feel that this year, of all recent years, is actually the least likely that they'll fall apart because of the Allardyce factor.

Personally think it's 2 from Norwich, Us and the Mackems. Fear it's us and Norwich.

If we win tonight and then win on Saturday then we are only 2 points behind WBA. A few clubs above us can still be caught, we just need to gain a little bit of form and then some will be dragged right back into it.

As things stand we need other teams to drop points for us to stay up.

Any team that starts stringing a few wins together will climb out of the relegation zone, Bournemouth have shown that.

2 wins back to back?? Crazy talk!

Someone on Reddit looked at each teams' remaining fixtures and made these lists based off who each team are playing and their total points so far - thus creating an "easiest to hardest" list.

So, from teams with easiest remaining games to teams with hardest, the list goes like so:

Liverpool

Stoke

Newcastle

Everton

Leicester (!)

Southampton

Man City

Spurs

Norwich

Arsenal

Chelsea

Watford

Crystal Palace

Bournemouth

Man United

West Ham

Aston Villa

Sunderland

Swansea

West Brom

Only two teams with an easier run in than us. West Brom, Swansea & the mackems are fucked.  McClaren should be shot if we get relegated
