midds
Can we get 2 more points from our 10 than Norwich and Sunderland can from their 9? That's pretty much the question, bearing in mind we play both of them I reckon it's about 50/50 for surviving now. That's dramatically better than it was 3 or 4 days ago. sbnufc
http://i.imgur.com/xAymXns.png Play all 5 of them, 3 at home. He's got as good a chance as he'd get at getting us safe - could hardly ask for better fixtures I'm at a '5' now
Karjala
Gone from a 10 to 9, Rafa gives us a glimmer of hope. Still cant get away from the fact we don't have a striker to score goals and we are relying on a piss weak defence.

Winning 3 or 4 of those 5 games, I think will probably be enough, assuming we pick up a few points other places.
Scotty66
What was our situation like this time last season? Think we're more in the shit now than we were last year and we needed the final day to stay up then However,I have complete faith in the big man. Guest DonaldGrump
From 9 to 8 as he really hasnt got a great hand to play I do think its between us and the Mackems. They have a goal scorer in Defoe which is a factor in thier favour. Its not beyond the realms that we and or Sunderland could catch Palace for reasons that we are familiar with. cubaricho
There are 30 points to play for, considerably more than we have at present Great way to look at it. I think that's how Rafa's looking at it too. That and the fact that we play a lot of the bottom dwellers as well. Ten matches to go, we can do it. Darth Crooks
We could potentially, should we shift the deadwood and actually let the man do his job.

Yorkie
The task is far from insurmountable. If you asked me, do I think we'll stay up - yes or no - right now I'd answer no. The fixtures are kind and we're only a point behind. Edit: I actually meant 'yes'. I'm so mint at posting.

Dontooner
I was a 10 when Maclaren was in charge, his football was rigid and he failed at motivating his players. Benitez on the other hand plays a type of football drowned in drills and systems. I have been watching Real Madrid this season under him, tbh his style doesn't suit a team full of talented and skillful players. It doesn't allow them to express themselves enough. Believe it or not , there was just too much team work. However for dumb players like Talyor or less intellectual players which have no clue how to play football, he might be sort of manager we need right now. His methods and passing routines are very team orientated. Below are two videos of him training the players at Real Madrid and the other a compilation of goals under the reign of Rafa. (someone please embedded the videos as i have no clue how to) Team Training This is visual proof that Rafa methods work. As the 1st video shows his routines he puts the players through and the 2nd shows the actual style being applied in real effect. I have every confidence after the confirmation that Rafa and he will probably keep us in the League. Down to a 2 now. Just hope he doesnt walk when Ashley shows his true nature.
