Been a total shit show so far. Maybe we're all just bent out of shape waiting so long for the actual takeover that we've got none left for anything else, however this is terrible and if they cannot see it then the whole thing is going to end up badly.

I'm not really sure how it's been a total shit show. They've waited a week too long to get of Bruce, but what else has happened?

Bruce still here

No hint of replacements being interviewed

No hint of the dof setup getting off the ground.

Talk of slow mgt structure with no doa.

Other prem clubs trying to stop sponsorship

Players fighting

Lack of training days

All of the internal stuff fucks off if you sack him day 1. It's the easiest decision they will ever have to make and yet he's still here. It was a gift wrapped open goal.

This takeover is just ending up being the pits so far like. All the good stuff is words, everything that happens is actually canny shit. [emoji38]

 Its been like 9 days, man. Its the pits now because it was the pits before. We're just seeing it all now. You dont undo all that damage in a working week.

Remember when rangers fans warned about the untold damage that Ashley has done to our club when it eventually gets out.

Them warnings are very likely still real, and disastrous.

I'm sure it'll all come good in the end but we're still 7/4 to be relegated (compared to Brentford at 10/1) and until that swings in our favour then I'm going to be nervous and react in kind.

There's a lot of speculation in there. We have absolutely no idea where the consortium are in the recruitment process for manager or DoF/sporting director.

There isn't a lot the consortium can do about the actions of the other Premier League clubs either.

A lot of the other problems you listed come back to the management, not the ownership, but I agree they could be resolved by binning Bruce, which they need to do.

So, I'm right in thinking this only affects monies brought in that are applicable to FFP spend on players? Essentially, we have to find some way of getting money into the club, solely to balance out spend on players. We can spend what we like on everything outside of the playing staff, so the improvements to the ground, training facilities and wages of a new manager aren't included?

Rumours it was West Ham that called for the vote

Good because if they keep pushing, the anti-competition legal team will have an absolute field day. The fact they had a meeting without NUFC in attendance is a blatant example of this. Premier League as we all know is corrupt, but they and their members are still subject to UK law.

There’s no way any of that sticks. It’s anti competitive and wouldn’t get through court. Like mentioned before, if they were really worried about it they wouldn’t have sent Charnley.

The other clubs seem to be trying to act quickly before our new owners have a grasp of what’s going on.

We need a beast of a CEO in quickly, someone who knows this lot and will put manners on them.

Difference is we can afford to buy ourselves out of them

Yup. And right now we can spend £190m on players coz Ashley was so tight.

We've seen how good the PL are at kicking cans down the road when they don't want something. The other clubs know they can stall us for years and increase the gap to us further while we have legally clear our right to compete again.

Long term definitely. I was just meaning in relation to how slow the consortium are moving re appointments.

Club has little to no staff, nobody of any note in any position.

And we are taking a dicking from all corners so I'm not surprised they are stuttering a little bit.

Thats not always possible, or even the best idea. It also would go against what theyve claimed their MO will be. Sometimes spending time s better than spending money.

Think they had no choice but to send Charnley as the Companies House standings have not been updated yet, so legally I think he is probably still the only legal Director until it is updated.
