Surely the three sites in aggregate are large enough for a 21st century training facility? Wonder if the lack of movement on a new site is owing to this.

Is there a Google earth photo of the full site ?

David Atherton is a lying cunt.  I wouldn’t believe a single word he says.

Must be the shite that billy bullshitter Sean Casey was on about this morning. Said we had a sponsorship deal lined up today as a way of getting around PSR.

Any speculation what this is? Curious about Formula-E involvement.

It’s a partnership with the club and a E-Racing team. I was part (an extra) of the video shoot. Got some photos of the day but under embargo. More will be revealed around the Brighton game iirc.

“But if we don’t put ourselves in these environments, then we won’t engage with fans in far-off territories and be able to say to sponsors, ‘Look what we did in Australia, or whatever country. Look at the fan reaction we had – we can help you in that territory by doing this and that’.

It’s what we need to do to keep growing commercially. Hopefully, we can have similar experiences to what we had in Atlanta, when we filled out an 80,000-seater stadium for a game against Chelsea. That’s the power of the Premier League, and it’s the power of a club like Newcastle United. We can engage with fans and make them happy in far-off territories."
