Another blockbuster boxing card announced for Feb,One of the best since Don Kings in the early 90s.

The title caught my eye just as much as the lineup "The Last Crescendo" Could mean nothing really or if they are pulling out of Boxing it might mean they focus elsewhere like the World cup and a new stadium for us

Good write up from De Marco

Isnt it simply the last card for their 'fight season'?

Some might find it interesting to watch the House of Lords live right now. They are discussing club ownership, and the amendments.

We are being named checked right now. Although the proposed amendment that has been talked about here hasn’t came up yet, it will be imminently.

Sounds like they haven't got a clue.

Saw a few comments in other thread so thought I’d ask in here. What’s everyone’s thoughts on the ownership currently? We seem a bit rudderless for me with PIF seemingly not taking much interest in us.

I find it hard to argue each way to be honest due to things not being announced such as sponsorships, stadium, Darren's replacement etc.

We also don't know if its Amanda's finances which facilitated her downfall the psr stuff or the off field performance.

While much is unknown it can be used by both school of thoughts. The negative ownership opinion will say we are being too slow and no news is a bad sign of ambition.

The positive bunch will say things take time, no project is linear and we have really good people in post now to take these next steps.

I cannot say which side I am on as both can prove to be true right now.

Guess we will know when the next bit of big news arrives I.e major sponsorship or stadium plans.

PIF are never going to be hands on, you would expect them to appoint the right people to do that part. So I am guessing that would be Eales and Mitchell we would look to draw up whatever plans are in place and implement them. Unless there's someone else in the leadership loop I'm overlooking.

Just that, “rudderless”.

I think some peoples view is skewed by how well we are doing performance wise.

Stadium and training ground are due to be announced next year. Sponsorships are still looked at by the Premier League.

They have invested as much as PSR allows them. We obviously need a new CEO soon, but they will be working on that.

This. Not really sure what people are expecting given our restrictions. Do they think new owners would be able to somehow get round those restrictions? Or more to the point, would they even want to?

I can understand transfer funds issue due to PSR and ATP.

But don’t feel like we have been as aggressive in maximising commercial revenue as we could. Also feels like they’ve spent minimum possible on facilities.

Stadium decision will be key.

Who is saying the training ground is due to be announced next year? The latest reports where suggesting we will stay where we are for a while.

They're in the process of expanding the current training ground further so we'll be staying put for a while
