It wouldn’t be so bad if the club crests were next to the score but this is just shocking. Another example of background amateur hour.

It looks like they've tried to copy or adapt a trending style and it just doesn't work. Neither does Trippier giving the thumbs up to being 0-2 down.

I've noticed in a few other threads Silverstone getting some stick now. I'm sure they were suggesting we'd had a 30% increase in commercial activity, but since the post season the sense has we've just drifted through the summer and it is a bit apathetic. If you had to choose one priority, at this moment in time, related to backroom operations what would it be?

A CEO like Staveley, with the priority being negotiating between Eddie and an massively broadened Scouting/Recruitment division. Howe and Mitchell both had good points in what they said. Why Mitchell would say it the way he did is beyond me. But the lack of development in finding undervalued players able to improve the team is the reason we look like going into a second CL season in 3 years with exactly the same problems as the first time. The first time there were legitimate reasons. This time, we knew, good chance a lot of players take bigger money at more established clubs. At least have a long list of players from all over and assess who can come in, and these should have been brought in last season, instead of chasing Guehi. 50-60 million? How about 10mil for Hjuisen, or 16mil for Milenkovic who was guaranteed to improve our team.

No one leading the football operation innit. There's a huge vacuum between Howe and Eales.

I assume that’s why Jack Ross got promoted in the short term, they need to choose the sporting director and quickly

Interesting Google search of his name shows the club uploaded this article to the website two days ago.

Anyway, what is a technical director? And in what way is his role different/similar to Mitchell’s?

Means wildly different things at different clubs it seems. Brentford's technical director Lee Dykes for example is involved in negotiations and dealing with player agents. Guessing this lad is going to build our data capabilities up
