By all accounts, they were impressed by what he said. But not giving him the job there and then means theyā€™re either interviewing others and then making a decision which is the sensible conclusion to a thorough process, or else they believe there is a better candidate available, or a candidate whom they want to try and persuade.

Well, looks my bet on Fonseca isnā€™t going to pan out.
 

Iā€™d be super excited with ten Haag, but Iā€™d also thought the dream of Rafa was dead. If heā€™s appointed and I donā€™t post within 24 hours, you can assume Iā€™ve exploded with happinessā€¦
