NWMag
Bit early to judge him imo. Overall there has been clear improvements since Bruce left. Howe took over a team half full of championship players, and our PL level striker is injury prone. He can’t do anything about the playing squad until now, and we are only 1 week into the window. It will take until the end of the summer window really to have an 11 that Howe wants and then can implement his style of play on. He’s been given a bag of shit so not sure why any short term drastic improvements are expected. We have gradually improved but there is a very low ceiling of performance that these players are capable of reaching, regardless of who is coach. Dublin1974
Hi.first post, had big worries about howe, I think we are in bigger trouble than we think , he's absolutely lifeless on the touchline,

Howe has to take responsibility for some of the results. Our squad is dog shit, a good manager manages more than what he has so far. All this shit about "he has only been in the job for 2 months ffs" Thats plenty of time to see a turn around?

In fact, I reckon that would be the bare minimum actually I think the big problem is that we actually lost the match.
DMLeazesender
Worth noting there was only one EH/new regime signing today, it's going to take time to ship out the crap but the quality of signings going forward gives us cause for optimism. Minhosa
Zero 'New Manager Bounce' effect so far. If he doesn't have the best February ever after he gets his signings, the owners may well apply some serious pressure to him.

Bada Bing
Think he has to take pressure off them for the time being. If it all falls apart behind the scenes now we are knackered for the Watford game. It’s clearly not a happy camp.

It's been hit and miss so far in the league and now a dreadful result in the FA cup, but im still behind him 100%. Howe isn't that type of manager. He's been brought in as part of a long term project IMO. A relegation and rebuild under Howe would bear more fruit than survival under a quick fix manager with no long term plan. Bruce = shit coach, should be getting more out of the squad. Howe = squad is completely shit and needs replacing, not on him to get better results with same players. Can't have it both ways. Howe seems to get a very easy ride, particularly with his post match quotes, in comparison to Bruce. You have to judge them equally.

You have to judge them equally. I'll judge him properly when he's got his own players in. The only way you can get results with this lot has been park the bus, and even that stopped working once the defenders started creaking due to age. Bruce's answer was pay £20m for Willock and get Hamza Choudhury on loan.

Before Howe, it was “this is a mid table side that is being Bruce’d”. Now all of a sudden the narrative has shifted to the players being shit. Before anyone has a go, I despised Bruce and still hope it works out for Howe but you can’t gloss over the fact that we haven’t looked very convincing for the majority of his tenure here so far.
