They've literally lead us to a cup and another Champions League. So we've missed out on a few targets, we'll sign others. Chill the fuck out man. They do though don’t they? No first team signing in 18 months or so. Howe and the players led us to the cup in spite of what happened off the pitch.

We didn't even sign anyone 😂

Alan Pardew
Time for Young Eddie to step up and secure some signings for you lot soon. Otherwise the window will be Calvert-Lewin and some unknown Portuguese winger who will end up at Motherwell in a few years.

He's pretty reserved usually but that is one point he was hammering home. Obviously there's still plenty of time but I imagine it is playing on his mind. Looking at the transfer and contract fees we would have to pay to bring in Mbeumo, Elanga, Pedro etc. im fully behind the owners not going all out to get players in early. If Eddie wants players in early he should look at a broader set of players. Not just the top ones from average PL sides we know they will not let go of easily. Doesnt mean we shall praise them forever. All I meant was Howe has carried this club almost by himself for over a year. They need to back him, something I hope they will. Chill..... He’ll totally understand the difficulties imo, not that he won’t be frustrated but probably more at the market that any efforts being made Agree. He gets Newcastle, but as an outsider who has come from a smaller club, he will totally understand that the established big clubs have a bigger pull than the likes of us or Villa. We saw this early on with Ekitike, it's not something new.
