yeah, he claimed that he was one of the biggest supporters of Howe, and basically denied that he called for his replacement a few days after the cup final. Gaslighting on a Republican level.

People see a trending conversation on Twatter and think the subject matter is the overriding consensus.

 

But it's always just a few voices moaning and 100s/1000s calling the opinions BS. Happens all the time. Politicians use it. 

 

Bottom line is, all but a minority think Howe is the best manager we've had, and could have, right now. And they're correct.

 

He's not without criticism, from time to time. And flaws should be able to be discussed. But the guy has elevated us beyond all expectations.

 

He's made us part of the conversation, at the top of football. Bit by bit.

So nobody, no manager,  is perfect and people like to, or at least tend to, moan; some more than others.

No doubt Arsenal have more bench strength but in general even when we have our elite midfielders operating for 90mins, we are dominating lesser sides but come up a bit short against the very best, this season so far at any rate.

 

I'm not sure if that is down to Bruno being tired, Joelinton maybe being found short technically in the really big games, or might just be us falling short in other areas of the pitch. Early days mind, but we haven't quite clicked for possession against the better teams yet.
