SUPERTOON
The fixture list is exactly what we and everyone at the club want or should want. If we can get a couple of transfers in January, we could still have a really great season.
andycap
Squad rotation is still a huge factor I feel to cut down on these injuries, Some are used some aren't. Like wingers are well rotated no injuries, fullbacks aren't rotated enough now we have none fit. Tripps Krafth Alex Murphy could've been used a lot more since the beginning of the season to lighten the load on tino and hall.

Whenever he’s been fit Tino’s been injured and vice-versa. Murphy could maybe have played more, but although he seemed fine last night, jury’s still out on whether he’s anywhere near good enough yet. Yeah I’m not exactly who could be been brought in to rotate, we’ve literally had no options. Even with Trippier fit the drop off is generally too big now that it would hinder us. Vital we go into the market in Jan for some cover.

The midfield worked hard and Willock and Ramsey were good. Some things still didn't click fluidly but it was a good response overall. The intensity and attitude was much better, we just need to show we can maintain it. Having a reaction to scathing criticism is one thing, making it routine is another. Coffee_Johnny
20th League Cup game last night. 90% win rate, in fact 65.9% win rate in all cups combined. Not too shabby, Eddie.

Heron
I'm intrigued to watch a little later, so not being ignorant . But just a more generic comment I'd like to make and that is that the hurdles he has been facing have been incredibly difficult by comparison with previous clubs who are now deemed "big 6" like. The league is entirely different, attitudes are, the elitist reporting and governance is. Honestly cannot believe how little slack this guy gets like. It's almost like he's just too nice for us to simply enjoy and support. Edited December 18, 2025 by Heron

We only have 3 fullbacks at the level we need or even close. 1 of them is 35. That's a squad building problem. Out of all the teams in the CL - we have the weakest depth at fullback by far and it's showing. The College Dropout
We have a weaker squad than Man U. In terms of quality in depth. Man U's goalie's are doodoo mind.

andycap
Sometimes you have to play a weaker option to save the legs and fitness of your main players. Krafth was massively underused earlier in the season lascelles and Alex Murphy aswell could've helped with the load. even if it meant twenty minutes here and there at the end of games. Joelinton, Schar etc. You can't convince me these are all bad players: Dalot De Light Yoro Shaw Casemiro Mainoo Mbeumo Bruno F Cunha Sesko Mazrouai(?) Maguire Martinez Dorgu Ugarte Diallo Mount Zirkzee And Man U always have serviceable youth players (Heaven, Chido for example). Is that a weaker squad than Forest, Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace? No chance. Better ran clubs, atmosphere, coaches - definitely.
andycap
We will never know if we have serviceable young players as they don't get a chance to show it.
