I really hope that some of the abject performances this season have got Howe planning an overhaul in the summer. We have gone stale and been found out a canny bit.

Would happily see the back of some of the players that played today with a view of freshening things up and developing the way we play.

Worse squads and players are capable of playing much better football than us.

The players are not the problem imo.

Agree but we dont learn or train on it it seems.

Tbf I think he had been bang average in the league this season with what he’s spent, it’s hardly a damning comment, get a grip

This is where I stop believing you FYI

We are a decent functional side with no X factor up front. A low block is enough to make our forwards wave the white flag.

Yes for different reasons Woltemade and Wissa probably aren’t good enough really.

He’s had chances to that tbf in the two most recent windows where we have spent but chosen not to.

Jesus fuck man,

Some proper moany buggers on here, Clean sheet against a decent team unbeaten in 2026, looking solid throught & moved ahead of the Makams

Careful what you wish for lads

Fuck off

We wouldn't have scored even if there was another 90 minutes to play.

Woltemade looks miles off it, is it fatigue? Confidence? No idea.

Gordon is basically a guaranteed starter no matter how he plays

Our best inform  winger is being played out of position

Tonali has been running on empty for a period

We still have Trippier starting games for us in 2026

This doesn't make me or anyone here a bedwetter - these are honest points of concerns

Very true. The summer is looking worse and worse each week.

Surely this is a wind up, clean sheet against a decent team unbeaten(lies) in 2026

They have played 4 league games and have a negative 26 goal difference

I worry in these games like wolves and man utd and Sunderland we can't find a solution to getting a goal or shot on target majority of the time.

You'd think he'd work on patterns with different setups in training to switch to when we need to be more clinical.

He’s way too loyal is EH - that’s a massive weakness he has - this is as high as he’ll get in his career

Pissed me off today. We were struggling to create against a team with a low block who offered little themselves going forward but any changes were like for like, no change of pattern.

That was obviously pretty terrible as a game, but I'm more frustrated at the players' complete inability to finish than I am the manager after that. Nick had 2 very good chances with his head, Joelinton swung at what should've been a tap-in. Even Bruno at the end completely fluffed his lines and should have at least made the keeper work.

It's actually only 3 including today, apparently a decent team now they've not lost every single game.

The away form has been guff for about 18 months now, we’re predictable to play against, and Eddie won’t try anything different to sort it.

Joining the criticism now. The apparent attitude going into these games and subsequent performances and the lack of conversion of being the better team has gone on too long now and there has to be something that can be done about it that isn't materialising if its even being acknowledged.
