Chicken Dancer
If Bruce, Pardew or anybody else had served up some of the shit we’ve seen this season they’d rightfully be getting called out too. It’s not good enough and hasn’t been for most of the season, doesn’t mean he should be binned off but we’ve been turgid in most of our games.

Sir Joel Inton
If I ask anything from tonight, use the second half as an opportunity to try something completely new that we could implement in the coming weeks against tough opposition. Whatever other plans we have in the background, roll it out and lets start trying to get used to it in a competitive fixture against a good team. High Five o
I just can’t understand why he use Barnes now. Rotate the squad, this game is gone. Love Howe, but he is a stubborn fuck when it comes to tactics and squad management.
LiquidAK
Selection basically forced on him given the injuries we've got. Had to go for it, clearly hasn't worked, but not worth all the piss that will be expelled in here tonight

The winter window is much more difficult to get deals done in, and they are nearly always more expensive than in the summer. Players also generally arnt as keen to move in January. Howe has enough credit in the bank to be able to be given the opportunity to navigate this of course. It would be a terrible move to sack him anytime soon. Just because he’s been absolutely unbelievable for us doesn’t make him immune from criticism. Some would sooner blame the kit man than the manager for the consistently shit performances. Got us out of a relegation battle and into the champions League twice.. is the right man for the job. Eddie is a legend. I like him. Doesn't change the fact he isn't doing a good job and has put together this weird and expensive squad that isn't good enough. I don't want him to have another summer to add more misfits to this squad.

But when you are down 5-0 with 50min left on the clock, just give the youngster a run out. Tactically we got what we expected. Vinny Green Balls
Yeah the Steve Bruce shit goes beyond criticism. Hyperbole of the highest order, and disrespectful considering that this ddue actually won us something and has had us on average in CL form since he came in.
