Ronson333
Everytime we go to their ground we play the same tactic & everytime we get smashed.
HaydnNUFC
Always was a big ask tonight. But 3-0 down in half an hour is just beyond tragic.

Sir Joel Inton
Said in the match thread but how he could have watched the game on Saturday and decided to play Trippier in the same position is baffling. Never mind the decision to bring Ramsdale in from nowhere. Both at fault for the first 2 goals, killed the tie and fucked it.

Guybrush
He's still the man, but there needs to be some serious introspection.
Decky
Has to beat Brentford. Lose that and I can see a lot of people turning. Desperate run we're on.
Pilko
Not his fault IMO. Got fuck all fit players and asked to play teams far better than us every three days. We regularly get dicked at Anfield and the Etihad anyway so it's not the time to be blaming him at all.
Sir Joel Inton
Just want to see some evidence he is learning from mistakes. Turning up at Man City playing like this after doing it before and getting walloped is not it. I hope this will be a turning point but I’ve said that multiple times this season. The back 5 thing is happening due to who we have available, there’s not enough pace across the back line to play a high line right now. They’d be losing their 1v1s left, right and centre. That being said, the second half vs Liverpool and this tonight has been utterly dogshit - when it doesn’t work it really doesn’t work. PSG game is when it works. We went for it and got killed off by two unfortunate goals tonight, pain Edited February 4 by Nine
Optimistic Nut
He did what people asked for and went for it. Should have just tried staying in the tie. Being picked apart.
Virtua Stiva
You’d be hard pressed to find a harder run of games in our entire history than the start of 2026 tbh. And he’s trying to navigate it with a team above him that are fucking allergic to signing players unless they satisfy some insane standard.

There are lots of reasons why the last two games went the way they did (or are going) but he is definitely one of those reasons. I don't think that's unreasonable. I take your point but why should we accept being shit there because we’ve always been shit there? Worse teams than us have got results and certainly put in better performances at both grounds this season, neither are what they were. Yet we go and get bent over year after year. It’s fucking pointless turning up at either ground, absolute shambles.
dcmk
Fucking hell they are out early tonight. We had to attack them. It's backfired. Have to move on and learn from it.

So he’s not running up and down the wing with 21 pace at pensionable age? Play Thiaw there? Play 4 at the back? 5 has worked once, at PSG. Literally anything but what he chose to do.
