Ok maybe you should source your facts with a bit more rigour as Tonali’s wife went into labour so he was subbed at half time so he could make the birth.

Unless you’re referring to a different game?

Ok I have checked my facts and confirm he's been hooked twice at half time this season, the other being Spurs at home.

Now, can you hand on heart say you believe that there is some kind of munity behind the scenes and Howe has lost half the team? or are you just being a tad dramatic as you are not Howe's biggest fan?

Chucking in Tonali, Hall and Barnes is very odd. Tonali runs miles every game, Hall was just left out for one game.

Gordon aye, and maybe Tino, they’re looking for the exit.

Maybe it's just body language but Tonali looks like he's lost heart. I thought he lost heart against Barca and faked injury personally. We went to shit after he was subbed too.

We didn't see Burn for a long time after Barca. Barnes has dropped off.

Hard to say why.

Yes also against Spurs but that was due to an injury (dead leg). It’s rare Howe will ever make a tactical sub at half time. So when he does it really makes you sit up and take notice.

Do I believe some players aren’t playing for Howe anymore?

Yes.

That’s pretty clear if you watch the games. Howe has even admitted this in his press conference after Bournemouth when he wouldn’t say all his players had the “fire”. Further, he gave a statement saying he wouldn’t play players who are no longer committed. He also talks about big changes in the summer coming. Howe is very calculated in his press conferences and he doesn’t just randomly make these statements. He’s telling you something as a fan.

It’s not being overly dramatic, all the evidence is there if you want to see it but many don’t.

I mean, obviously everyone will be down with how things have gone. But losing the dressing room is usually more than that.

If Tonali isn’t trying then I’d hate to see how much he runs when he is

The Brighton game is massive and will be a telling factor, I didn't read anything into the Arsenal result as they have been so cagey off late and we didn't lay a glove on them.

We could be behind forest next weekend, a team who look dead and buried earlier in season.

Poll is crazy given only 20% were Howe out before. Does not back mean want sacked now?

Someone said earlier that it was probably down to people just not bothering to change their vote from when we weren't as bad earlier in the season, which I agree with

And It had creeped up to 23% before it was changed btw

For context, I think with a 3rd option of “I’ll decide after the next 4 games” a large chunk - 30%+- would sit in that bucket. You can see quite a few in the comments (myself included) wanting to see whether he can turn the ship in our last four games. That’s both sides of the current polling, not just the “yes” folk.

We have always been bad against Brighton and they are on a good run…they have even started believing in Hürzeler (while most fans were after him with pitchforks after the loss against Palace) - long story short, I don’t expect anything from this game.

That is quite a stark realisation!

I personally don't think they will beat Chelsea away but then again I thought they would lose to Sunderland and we all see how that played out.

I think we will lose to Brighton, probably a 1-2 loss.

Yeah, I updated my view every week or so, would’ve assumed the particularly angry people would have too

I voted no (and changed my original vote after the derby to the same or whatever answer was similar) but don't like the wording of it tbh. I'll back him and the team wherever possible at games and I think it's pointless getting rid of him now. But a better wording would be imo 'do you want Howe in charge next season'.

I want a change but I'm worried that the managerial merry go round this summer means we'll end up with someone not our first choice and not much of an upgrade from him which would be pointless..

Yeah next games really important for me, I'm firmly Howe out currently, but if we show something in the next game (and make ourselves completely safe from relegation) then that would temper my thinking somewhat. If we then went on a run and actually looked decent in the last few then that would probably make me second guess whether changing was the right thing or not. My current thinking is we look poor, uninterested, nervous and without any proactive or quickly reactive coaching, we just try the same thing that isn't working over and over and so I think things aren't going to get better under the current coach. If things did actually get better and we won our remaining games that would pretty firmly prove me wrong and I'd think maybe he does actually deserve another season to properly fix things. On the flip side we should also have a plan in place if we are equally as bad as we have been in the next game.

After the verbal abuse I took for including an "on the fence" option in the previous poll, I'm glad to see people aren't letting this lazy effort slide.

I'm Howe out currently but it's based on me feeling that a lot of the good players have lost faith in the project. After the three week break if we had come back with our batteries charged and had a good go at qualifying for Europe, I would have said, yeah just a bad season, let's go again next time round.

But I'm not seeing that, I'm only seeing players who look collectively worse than the sum of their parts. I don't mind a year where we go a bit stale, but it's galling seeing some of the sides who have barely a quarter of our budget outperforming us this season.

The question posed is could we be in one , essentially he’s said yes if we don’t do A,B,C

bury your heads all you want , he’s finished

This is just a conjecture filled argument fueled by prejudice. Relentlessly negative.

Watched Tonali play for Italy in that game he started midweek after he was too injured to play for us a few days earlier and based on body language it was like watching Tonali's happier twin brother.

I've heard a fair few comments on football podcasts indicating he will be gone in the summer. I know he's a twat but the Newcastle "fan" on the ramble is on example.

Luckily they know shit all.

I agree but there’s not much reason for our players to be beaming at the moment. We’re losing a lot.
