People need to get their head around him staying. He doesn’t want to leave and PIF don’t want him to go.

Oh good… this thread is a wonderful place after a draw in which we were comfortably the better team for 90% of the game.

We know what the majority of our problems are. We know that they’re not likely to improve without a transfer window.

Eddie’s still the man… just need the summer and a big reset / phase 2 to begin.

Now we're safe, I genuinely hope he walks with his reputation relatively intact.

He's made mistakes certainly, but I also feel he's been badly let down by the club management, and certain players. He also deserves far better than some of the shit coming his way from a section of our 'support'. The fickle/entitled cunts should be ashamed of themselves.

Not wanting to be brutally humiliated 7-2 in Barcelona in the most important game of the season does not make someone fickle.

so. whats gonna be so different next season?

same tactics, same in game management.

This my whole point with Howe - he’s cemented his legacy here - he has a ceiling and it’s showing - we’ve had 5 weeks back and literally been as bad as we were all season - nothing bar personnel is changing

We are truly dreadful and he must take blame as the coach

fickle is getting pissed off after one or two poorly managed games.

or nor smashing citeh or aresnal.

and he's not had much abuse directly to him from the crowd

Iraola possibly being off to Palace is genuine neglect from our board/owners.

It really is - the team looks stale and Eddie looks out of ideas

How can we possibly lack leadership? We have one of the oldest squads in the league.

I think we've got a manager who's probably burnt out.

Being old doesn't make you a natural leader

You could be right on the latter point though. We'll soon find out.

I thought we dominated the game (as did everyone who I’ve been with today), but with the usual issues with our attacking play. Not really an outrageous take.

It was an improvement on what we've witnessed recently I think good for where we are is reasonable. (Excluding after we conceded)

Aye that’s not debatable, but being the better side against these today wasn’t really much to ask. We were still pretty poor imo.

I may be expecting to much then, but I thought it was more of the same against a poor side.

Separate to the result today do you think enough can be done to move the needle in our favour in one window? Baring in mind we arent just going to lose the shite from the squad the rebuild will need one or more of our better players to go to facilitate it.

Happy for manager to try and rebuild but there are loads of work to do and a WC year means not alot of time to sort.

Think we have too much to do in one window, for us to see any drastic improvements.

That and the manager's comments suggest a lack of appetite to make big changes.

I can't really comment, but it sounded about par for a Premier League game this season.

Is say slightly above average for us this season. But I thought forest looked knackered so the game was easier for us that your average PL match

I didn’t feel like we were in any trouble whatsoever until they scored, no. In fact, it only really looked like we’d go on and get another. It was a pretty dominant performance.

It was a good goal from Anderson. Sometimes they happen.

How does a transfer window stop us from throwing away points from decent positions and conceding late goals ?

We’ve been soft as shit all season long and when it happens so often for so long, that’s down to the manager and his inability to sort it out.

Became apparent when none of these leaders had the bollocks to do an interview after the Derby. Not that I wanted to hear from any of them like.

I don't think I've seen a team not dominate against Forest this season (or most of last season either) tbf, they habitually allow the opposition to have the ball.

The performance is difficult to evaluate for that reason. We didn't create a great deal despite dominating the ball.
