Throwing some random pairings together there 😜 but it is like fucking AEW, obligatory oldtimer legend as a manager for every wrestler.

Is this a joke? We've literally just seen how Rafa could organise a defence, build a solid base, get the max out of some bang average players and start to assumble an attack that had real promise, only for Bruce to turn up, undo all that work, regress almost every player and spaff millions on shite players... and you say there's too much emphasis on a manager

Yeah but Pearson told Vardy he would play for England one day and that will do for me

Life was so much easier when it was just Bruce and Charnley.

Very football hipster choices in this article. It's just made me more sold on Fonseca. Damn you Horncastle.

Loved this piece but wouldn't want Hodgson anywhere near us. He led a few coaching sessions over here in Canada and was super sexist about women's football.

If the reports of interest in Fonseca/Favre/Overmars are to be believed, it's at least clear that the management hierarchy are focused on building a fast, young, attacking side; playing to a "system"; and identifying and cultivating lesser-known names to maximum potential. That alone excites me more than, say, bringing in Antonio Conte and surrounding him with current superstars. The number of relative unknown kids and South Americans that Shaktar and Dortmund have turned into worldies during Fonseca and Favre's times in charge there is unreal.
