Considering Saivet and Colback are on the books but not in the squad, I’d say there is less than zero chance of any incomings without clearing a few out first.

IF we could get a replacement we should sell Shelvey whilst hes in reasonable form as hell go back to dog shit soon for a while then back to being good.

We pay people to fly around europe and watch football for absolutely no reason.

May apply to be a scout with us and under cut what salary we currently pay our average scout. Clearly no experience required other than being able to use an airport, board a plane and perhaps order an Uber the other side to go to a football match.

Probably have to pay for travel yourself.

Unless he's totally crocked £8m is a fantastic price for Gayle. 46 goals in his last two seasons in the Championship.

Either he's knackered or Nixon's talking shit. Far more likely to be the £20m-ish figure being banded about.

Not that any of this matters cos boss man Steve doesn't take any shit and he says Gayle's going neewhere.

Wonder what Shefki Kuqi is up to these days. Maybe he'd fancy coming out of retirement to sign as a free agent.

Actually his brother (and maybe him too, it's a bit weird) sued the club he coached (and got sacked, after he tried to sack all the coaching staff) to court, and turned out that they had faked a chairman's signature to some contract. They demanded some payments that where supposedly due.

Sounds like a perfect match for our club.

Was he trying to get a second series?

And to add that, the court case revealed that the club had faked a date on a contract releasing a player, Shefki's brother, so that he could leave as a free agent. They made it look like he was a free agent at the end of August, which he wasnt. That will most likely go down well with UEFA...

Sorry for total off topic, but it looks like he isn't the answer to our striking problems.
