Guest
If we sign Wilson they can have him for £1m for all I care. We’d improve massively.
xLiaaamx
Oh, I agree. Ritchie's no more than a passion merchant who strikes the ball alright once in a blue moon now. He needs to be offloaded either way in my opinion.

Guest
It’s been a shit window but if we’re evolving from Ritchie & Dummett being first-team starters then the team has improved.
Kanj
Lewis, Fraser on left. Saint Max, Manquillo on right?
STM
I wonder who will try to sign from Watford.
Guest
If we sacked Bruce now for Eddie Howe, I reckon we’d finish comfortable and at least play a good brand of football. That’s based on Lewis, Fraser & Wilson joining.
mrmojorisin75
As always in the Ashley era striker is going to be the major issue. If we get that lb we could probably muddle through the season fairly comfortably if we had a striker capable of double figures.
Si
Why fly him up? the cost of that is coming out of our tiny budget. They are nice at the beginning when they want something.

TheInfiniteOdyssey
That’s a joke of an offer for Ritchie mind, he’s a superb player at that level, £7m should be the minimum
KaKa
£2.5 million for Ritchie man. What a liberty.
Dokko
Lewis, fraser and Wilson would be a cracking window and one that addresses the weaknesses full on for a change and not gambling on unproven foreign tat hoping for a profit later down the line. Rafalove
Is Wilson really the answer? He scored 7 goals last season. I know that’s better than any of our strikers but only one goal more than Shelvey.
Guest neesy111
I really don't think Wilson would be a good signing.
Dokko
Is Wilson really the answer? He scored 7 goals last season. I know that’s better than any of our strikers but only one goal more than Shelvey. Bournemouth were awful last season. Two main creative players in fraser and Brooks firing blanks and out for most of the season. His goal return wasn't bad considering what was going on, if he'd been here instead of Joelinton I think you'd be looking closer to double that. Guest neesy111
Not sure about that mind considering how shit we are in creating chances.
Dokko
Not sure about that mind considering how shit we are in creating chances. There was enough there to expect more goals than we did. We weren't great but Bournemouth were 2 or 3 levels worse than us.

Yorkie
I really don't think Wilson would be a good signing. Agreed, certainly not at £20million. And he's going to work/bring the best out of Almiron and ASM, is he? Good in the air? Can hold it up well? From the - admittedly not boatloads - of Bournemouth I've seen; er no, I don't think so. Not a clue what Bruce has got in mind tbh and I doubt he does either tbh. Just filling gaps with players he's heard of and are available.

They also seemed to play 2 upfront a fair bit and so relied too heavily on wing play. In a team with ASM, Miggy and Fraser behind him, as well as Shelvey's ability to pass from deep, it should be much better for him. The thing that scares me with Wilson is his injuries. Especially considering Bruce's reputation for getting everyone injured.
