But he tells me that they’ve tried to peddle him recently and have only recently dropped the price to £7m. They’ve had loan offers from quite a few clubs but holding out to sell him. Ashley wouldn’t pay out money to sack Bruce so I would be gobsmacked if he paid a permanent transfer fee.
