Raconteur
I'm just going to assume that all transfer rumours like Welback are lies - because if they're not, then it's Dennis Wise's shopping list for whichever PFM is lined up for after Rafa. Away Day Gadgie
Really like Welbeck as a player. He’s got good technique, is quick and has a great engine. He’s not a composed finisher though, which is why he’s been mainly used out wide throughout his career. I’d be worried if we were relying on him as the main man to get goals, especially considering his recent injury record.

Yorkie
Aye, I've been a fan of Welbeck's for ages and would take him in a heartbeat; I think he'd be good competition for Rondon. He's never been prolific but I think he's a very tidy finisher; loves a chip over the keeper. His injury this season was an absolute killer, mind. What about his injury last season? And the season before that? And the season before that? ad infinitum
Ikon
Too much of a West Ham signing for me, to some degree.
Deuce
Welbeck would be a good low-risk, high-reward addition if we got him on the cheap. Just so we didn’t rely on him to be first-choice. Surely his wage demands would be way too much for us anyway.
David Edgar
High wages and a poor injury record is not what I'd consider a low-risk signing.
George Bailey
High wages and a poor injury record is not what I'd consider a low-risk signing. His injury record is what would worry me. All moot points as no chance on hell of us paying wages for him with fat twat still here, and especially once Rafa goes.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
When Welbeck ("they called me Mr. Glass") is fit he doesn't score many goals and that's playing for Arsenal. He'd get less goal scoring chances at NUFC.

Surely his wage demands would be way too much for us anyway. I think he would be similar to Perez. Managers like Benitez would love him, but fans hate because he can be frustrating just like Perez. I would take him on a free transfer if he didn't have such a bad injury record.

Guest Howaythetoon
Wellbeck injury free yes, but more chance of Michael Owen hosting the Film Review than that so no. Unless on a free anyway. I rate Abraham highly who seems to have done well in the Championship and he’s someone Rafa has tried to bring here before. I wouldn’t have a clue as to how much he’d cost mind. Tribesman
It says in that article the club want to reduce the average age of the squad so kind of ignoring Benitez's call for more experience.
