Expect to see a couple of big sales ( Longstaff , Almiron , maybe ) so the dumb ' fans ' can play the " who are we going to get in with all that £££ ? game ... then its the old we tried but there wasn't enough time and Ashleys pocketed a few more million

Longstaff, Almiron and Perez will probably bring in north of £60 million add that to our current budget of £50 million and that's almost £20 million we will take all summer to spend then run out of time and save it for the winter window.

Hopefully we do spunk a load of money on some fucker Rafa didn’t want, only for Colback to come back and break his leg in training. Would just add to the comedy value of this coming season.

Keep forgetting about Colback. Thank fuck I won't be paying the slightest bit of attention next season then.

Martin Dubravka, Federico Fernandez, Fabian Schar, Isaac Hayden and Ayoze Perez are some of the #nufc stars open to offers now that Rafa has left the club. [David Coverdale]

We knew Hayden was going, Fernandez is good but a back-up and not that bothered about Dubravka.

Schar would be a shame, though.

Surprised people bother to post in this thread and the new manager thread. Who the fuck gives a fucking fuck. Snooze until Ashley die, come back and hope for the best.

Couldn’t give two fucks.

Notwithstanding I'm thick as mince but been seeing Almiron as costing us £21m?

I thought it was £17m, is that an Ashley made up with wages etc etc figure?

It's £17m, rising to £21 if certain clauses are met.

That figure is used because it sounds a lot better than "Ashley SMASHES transfer record with £17m Almiron. An astonishing £200,000 more than their previous record of £16.8m for Michael Owen nearly 14 year ago".

Yeah man, let's sell half of what is an already depleted squad.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of an exodus this window. Any of our players with even a little ambition are going to have their agents out and about looking for a move.

Hope so. None of them deserve to be part of what should be about to occur. Except Colback. Hope he's made captain.

Who cares? I give about as much of a fuck about the club as Ashley does. Let it crash and burn.

Second this. Sell everybody! Why bother fielding a team?

I wish they’d just all refuse to play.

Make Mike Ashley have to field himself and Charnley upfront next season.

Why wouldn't you be bothered about losing Dubravka?

It's posts like this that make you worry about the future of our great club and the ability or lack of it of the supporters who are the only people who can do something about Ashley. In case my answer isn't clear enough, it doesn't matter which players stay or leave, which manager joins or doesn't,  the place needs destroying until Ashley sells up.
