David Edgar
5 starts, 5 sub, 1 goal in League 1. That lad hasn't got an immediate future at the highest level.

Just a propheteer
5 starts, 5 sub, 1 goal in League 1. That lad hasn't got an immediate future at the highest level. And people were calling for him to get gametime here

Just a propheteer
Mental thing is he is probably actually worth 40m. Just shows the joelinton deal up for being dodgy as. If they wanted to spend 40m they could have got some real quality with it and with a player like that you have a good chance of making profit on the 40m too. And guess what, we could have and should have bought him when he left Celtic for less than half that price. We were interested, but not for how much Celtic wanted. Just a propheteer
Absolute morons man. The most frustrating thing is it doesn't require blowing a fortune. We could have ambition and a good team and make money just by not being retards in the transfer market. That "40m" for joelinton. We could have spent a year scouting the best prospects in the country and got say 6 or 7 of them for 6m each and actually had some decent prospects for once
triggs
I remember having arguments with people on here who were against signing Dembele when he was leaving Celtic. People go on about the SPL like it's the Romanian second division even though lots of good players have come through there.
Just a propheteer
That's why we can't ever cut off any deadwood like atsu, muto etc as we have no squad players to replace them with. If we were run properly we could sell the Gayle, atsu, ki, muto, maybe dummett or Clark and invest that money in a proper striker. Then them 4 holes in the squad could be filled by 3 or 4 players stepping up from the youth team.
Ankles Bennett
So its mid transfer window and only now Bruce is set to have a transfer summit with fat ash. We all know the the outcome. Only enough cash left to pay wages for free transfers/loans but will have to sell to make room in the first team squad before any players come in so no signings of any significance and certainly no striker of any note. TBG
Looking forward to being told that in general there's not enough time to get incoming deals done, all the while managing to sell players within a couple of days.
Raconteur
Considering Saivet and Colback are on the books but not in the squad, I’d say there is less than zero chance of any incomings without clearing a few out first.

IF we could get a replacement we should sell Shelvey whilst hes in reasonable form as hell go back to dog shit soon for a while then back to being good. hakka
We pay people to fly around europe and watch football for absolutely no reason. May apply to be a scout with us and under cut what salary we currently pay our average scout. Clearly no experience required other than being able to use an airport, board a plane and perhaps order an Uber the other side to go to a football match. Yorkie
Unless he's totally crocked £8m is a fantastic price for Gayle. 46 goals in his last two seasons in the Championship. Either he's knackered or Nixon's talking shit. Far more likely to be the £20m-ish figure being banded about. Not that any of this matters cos boss man Steve doesn't take any shit and he says Gayle's going neewhere.
