Announced earlier today that 15k tickets have been sold.

May end up as one of the smaller crowds for the women at SJP which is a shame.

It is disappointing based on previous attendances, but to put it into perspective, Man U women got about the same for their champions league game against PSG last night.

Arsenal women have shown in order to build the attendances you need to be patient, but you need to be consistent! The focus on our women's team is very inconsistent, and the fact they still dont have a manager, and no one is even being linked, speaks volumes!

Arsenal get good crowd but I think they have always priced the game right for what is essentially an event in central London. They are also historically one of the bigger clubs in the womens game as well, and have a good history of success which has only really been challenged in recent years by the likes of Chelsea and Man City.

The fact that nobody is being linked doesn't bother me particularly. I don't think there is a huge amount of value for journalists digging around for info and I fully expect it to be announced out of the blue. It's frustrating that, judging by how long ago they binned Langley, they are struggling to get who they want.

True, but Chelsea win the league every year (5 or 6 years in a row) and have a squad full of superstars, yet they get mostly 10-15k attendances when they play at Stamford Bridge, because they've not as consistent with their support, despite the success of the team.

We have a new Women's DOF and she needs to get her head into gear and get someone in, before it is actually too late

Yep, and bare in mind it's the second tier and we're matching and bettering attendances at the top level.

Anybody know who's been turning out for the reserves recently? Alnwick Town Women playing them tomorrow, I had maybe been maybe planning to maybe go along to SJP but I'll probably go to the reserves instead.

Can't find that final pass. Sunderland have been comfortable so far, even if we are just edging it so far.

Sevenius has been bright but cant finish sequences consistently enough. Although everytime she gets the ball and loses it i am waiting for the commentators to start the lion king.

the lion king disney GIF

The close up camera shots look like slower motion replays too!

Watched 10 mins of it on YouTube but switched it off and got Hungary v Ireland on now.

If that's the usual standard of the womens team I dof my cap to all those who sit through that every week because I thought it was dreadful as a spectacle. Standard is abysmal and there's just zero intensity to it. I'm sure in the small part I watched a Sunderland player pulled a Newcastle player down to the ground by her pony tail as well [emoji38]

Women's football probably peaked the first time England won the euros, seems to be in decline now

Aye that's a shame for them like but I suppose if people went last time and didn't think much of it they're unlikely to return. To put it in perspective even a 15/16k crowd is excellent going given the fare on the pitch.
