1-0.

Didn't see the game against Ipswich but we look so much better in these opening minutes. Boddy being back makes a massive difference too.

Same, I never saw last weeks game either, but they have created more in the opening few minutes then they did in any of the previous games under Langley this season.

They are well and truly going for the 2nd goal here.

Exactly the same as what has happened the last two years. Dominated a lot of games, but just can't put the ball in the net. Easy chances not being converted. Needs a new manager in sharpish. I honestly thought they had a replacement lined up when Langley was sacked, but we are still waiting. 6 points from the second place so still time. We need a top level manager in now though and a big January window for that to happen.

Getting rid of the local lasses and replacing them with what feel a bit (probably unfairly) like journeywomen and mercenaries probably hasn't helped.  They kinda walked the national league because they were paid and everybody else wasn't but I would rather have seen Tyler Dodds and Hannah Greenwood and Katie Barker given a chance at this level rather than go down the route we went to not look anything like getting the next promotion anyway. The players we brought in are decent and seem like good lasses but not, in the main, so much better that it was worth losing the local feelgood factor for imo

Absolutely.

You could make an argument that splashing the cash to (as much as possible) guarantee promotion may have been justified but we've got rid of a lot of very likeable, committed players and managed to go backwards. Really poor all round really.

The one thing I'd say, having been hyper critical on Langley and the start of the season, is we are actually still very much in the promotion battle. We are a bit adrift (6 points) but our next three are Sunderland (below us in the league), Portsmouth (below us in the league) and Southampton (one point above us in the league). 1st placed Charlton also play 3rd placed Bristol this weekend. If we can find form we could very easily go into the winter break three points off the promotion places. And the transfer window then opens, potentially allowing us to address some of our problems.
